D:BLW — A Philosophy of Going Lower, Born from a Roll of PC-CF Filament

Hi, this is Team D:BLWRC.
This blog is where we share the journey behind our brand D:BLW—how it all started and what philosophy drives us.

D:BLW stands for Descent Below.
Not just going low, but going even lower—
pushing past limits, digging deeper into performance, and chasing the lowest center of gravity possible.
That’s the heart of what we do.

It all started simply.
A friend gave me a roll of PC-CF filament.
I looked at it and thought, “What should I make with this?”
And then the idea struck:

“Why not build the crawler I’ve always wanted?”

That’s when the journey truly began.
I looked into all kinds of chassis designs and learned a lot in the process.
But it didn’t take long for me to realize—
just copying others wasn’t what I wanted.

I wanted to design something with purpose—
a low CG crawler that reflects my vision and style.
So I started designing, printing, testing, tweaking—again and again—
until the first version of the D:BLW chassis came to life.

It’s still a prototype.
There’s a long way to go, and it will keep evolving.

On this blog, I’ll be sharing the entire D:BLW process—
from CAD design and 3D printing to tuning and field testing.
